On Thursday (Sept 29), we had our first webinar of the year with Madison Parks and Jeff Flaherty from Marriott! They answered questions about running social media as a brand and crisis management. Madison also gave some great advice about being in the job field. A few key points and advice given to us from the experts were:
- When reacting to posts on social media “consistency is key”
- “It is worth it to react to this post”
- “While you can’t plan for a crisis you can take a look at your history and estimate where you need to be better prepared”
- When starting as a new employee “find something that is not being done and do it well”
